A food hall with nine vendors from “rising chefs” called Fête New York will open next spring at 231 West 39th Street, between Seventh and Eighth avenues. The more than 12,000-square-foot Art Deco space is the brainchild of Doris Huang, a former Godiva exec. It will also have a bar, primarily serving beer and spirits from New York, and will be designed by Carpenter and Mason, a company that’s also done projects like Van Leeuwen locations, Egg Shop, and Tender Greens.
