Adams & Co. Brokers 30,000 s/f Renewal For Leading Outerwear Fashion Company

NEW YORK, September 4, 2007– Adams & Co. Real Estate recently brokered an 11-year, 30,906-square-foot renewal at 463 Seventh Ave. for Junior Gallery Ltd., a premier fashion outerwear company. The space will be used for general and executive offices as well as showroom purposes. Gallery is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of an extensive range of coats and jackets, including leather and non-leather apparel. Gallery coats are sold nationally in prominent stores including Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s, Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor. David Levy of Adams & Co. represented both the tenant and the landlord in the transaction. Although details of the lease were undisclosed, the asking price for the space was $39 per square foot. Built in 1925, the 22-story property boasts 24-hour security and FedEx and USPS drop-off points. Recent renovations include new elevators and new windows. Notable tenants include Nordstrom, American Utex and Redcats USA. The retail tenant roster includes Andrew’s Coffee Shop, Federal Express and Kara New York. “We are thrilled Gallery is renewing their lease in this prominent Fashion District property,” said Levy. ”With many outerwear companies in the building, this has become a fashion outerwear center and is the perfect spot for Gallery, a leader in the industry.”
