New York City Commercial Real Estate News FASHIONABLE DEAL By Lois Weiss Wednesday, August 13, 2008 - A leading fashion showroom with many exclusive celebrity collections dubbed TWNZ, signed a 10-year lease for 6,000 sf at 226 W. 37th Street. The TWNZ showroom features 11 high-end women’s clothing brands including lines by Yumi Kim, Lauren Conrad, Heather Hawkins and Amanda Uprichard. The rapidly-growing company, which has tripled in size in the past two years, will use 3,500 sf of the full-floor space as a showroom. Brett Maslin of Adams & Co. represented the tenant, while Roy Moussaieff of Yoral represented the building owner in the transaction. Though details of the lease were undisclosed, asking rents were $37 per foot. Built in 1924, the 17-story property is located center of the Fashion District. Notable tenants include Designer Loft, New York Language Center and Jordache Enterprises.
